Verbs you hate in Spanish Vol 1

The worst Spanish verb ever:

That has to be “Caber” (to fit).

It has the strangest conjugations, even for us native speakers. For instance, in the present tense:

Yo quepo, tu cabes, Él/ella/usted cabe,

nosotros cabemos, vosotros cabéis, ellos caben.

or the preterite:

Yo cupe, tu cupiste, Él/ella/usted cupo,

Nosotros cupimos, vosotros cupísteis, ellos cupieron.

Then, wanna avoid it? (we certainly do)

Instead of saying “No quepo”, say: “No hay espacio para mi”

Instead of saying “no cupimos”, say: “No hubo espacio para nosotros”
